Are you starting your day right? Recently, I have formed this habit of starting my day with a self-help book and it has done wonder to me. It helped me to be thoughtful about my actions and made me more reflective.

Are you starting your day right? Recently, I have formed this habit of starting my day with a self-help book and it has done wonder to me. It helped me to be thoughtful about my actions and made me more reflective.

Reading a self-help book has also made it easier for me to stick to my affirmations and goals. And the best part is when I read a book in the early morning, I get the time to implement the lessons that I have gained throughout the day. And in the night, when I journal, I get to reflect on my actions which makes me further happy as I realize that I am growing as a person.

Currently, I am reading “Happiness Unlimited”. In this book, the author discusses that happiness is our natural state. However, in the midst of all the everyday complexities, we forget it and end up thinking that staying with a troubled mind is better as it is an indication of hustle. The book also draws a cleaning distinction between material comfort and spiritual comfort. Once I finish reading the book, I will post a detailed review of it. Let me know what you are reading!

  1. That’s actually a great idea! When I do make time to read, I usually do it in the middle of the day or at night, before bed. I love starting your day with so much positivity.

  4. Reading self help books in the morning sounds like a great way to start the day. i’m usually busy early in the morning already because of the kids but if I have time, I’d love to try this idea.
